Lunch and a $10 bucket of 100 green soldiers. A trip to Goodwill to look for treasures. Costco for samples. Banana split for dessert.
Breakfast (chocolate chip pancakes for D) and $10 worth of Call of Duty action figures then a trip to a pet shop that still sells pets. 3 large tortoises roaming the floor. Puppies, kittens, fish ... and reptiles. Thank goodness for a kind Dad person to reach in and get one for D to hold.
A trip to the Oregon Coast ... they don't care about rain!
Newport, Oregon has a great Aquarium
His first ever banana split ... yes, at Dairy Queen
For our "date" we went to a pet store where EVERYTHING was holdable. Now he wants a Bearded Dragon for his birthday
That's what I don't like about little boys...they want reptiles and other scary things. LOL You are building great memories for your grandsons.
ReplyDeleteHe may want a bearded dragon but will he get one :) Grandsons love their grandmas :) They might "out grow" their moms for a bit but I think they never do with their grandmas :) Sounded like lots of fun times!

This sounds like just the kind of dates I like to have with the Grand Girls.
ReplyDeleteAt these ages, almost anything sounds like fun! Might try high tea somewhere next month. Or maybe in May!
