LONGEST NIGHT OF THE YEAR

Yikes!

It's only 8:00 pm in Maui (1:00 am in New York) and the House is declared RED.

Senate looks like a tie.

PRESIDENT?  Too close to call.

I hope no one needs any of their money from the stock market within the next year ....

P.S.  I watched until 2:00 am.  Took hours to fall asleep.  Let's just make the most of this four years ... and work hard to repeal the electoral college!

  1. All three branches are now Red and the Supreme Court will change dramatically over the next few years. I just wonder how long DT supporters will be happy when it becomes clear he can't deliver on half the stuff he promised to do in his first 100 days.

    1. I'm too tired to delve ... how many new Presidents accomplish more than half of the stuff they promise? I believe in our kind of Democracy and despite all the red for a change, the whole system is not going to crumble.

Calm down--we'll be fine. It is as it is.

  5. I expected protests if Hillary won but I'm shocked that young people are rioting because she lost. I wish they'd stop and find a more productive why to get involved in making the changes they want in government. They say many are Bernie fans.

    1. It is interesting. Even boring old Portland, Oregon had massive rioting and an acquaintance (now) took her young children to burn the American flag!

  6. I kept saying I'd be glad when it was over. Well... not so much.
