I'm just late to the game, I guess. But, if no one tells me, how would I know?
I hate taking giant horse sized pills. Unfortunately, I take 3 every night for Type2 Diabetes, one huge multivitamin and a second large Vitamin b-complex. My sister went to a specialist in NYC to learn more about osteoporosis. She also hates horse pills and calcium is one of those. And sometimes several a day. He informed her about liquid calcium! Oh my gosh! Delicious and delightfully flavored. Available at Whole Foods as well as Amazon (it was less expensive in NYC!). (He specifically recommended this brand).
A couple of weeks ago, the roof of my mouth was sore, for no reason I could think of. I was going to the dentist for a cleaning anyway, so I asked if it looked irritated to them. I'd been using Tooth and Gum rinse as well as warm salt water.
I've been using this tonic for several years and I love how clean my mouth feels after!
The dentist asked if I'd ever tried PurO3. My confused face assured him I had never even heard of it! It's ozonated coconut oil that you just rub around the sore area. When I got home and looked it up, apparently swishing with plain coconut oil is terrific for dental care. It is an antibiotic and antifungal natural substance. Anyway, after a few days of applying PurO3, mystery mouth was healed. I tried the coconut "pulling" (20 minutes of swishing coconut oil) but it was a disgusting experience ... the oil doubled in volume and it wasn't flavored so tasted pretty bad.
Please look up the ozone process. Very interesting and great health benefits (especially for drinking water) but a bit more chemistry than necessary for this little blog.
What is new to you and do you recommend it?
Never heard of liquid calcium. I will be trying that out.
ReplyDeleteThis company has lots of other vitamins and supplements. I'll probably try multi when my giant ones run out!
DeleteDon't need it yet but good to know. I tried that oil pulling and really didn't like it.
ReplyDeleteI didn't like that either ... the taste and the texture.
DeleteI do everything gummy.
ReplyDeleteI never thought about doing gummy! This company also does gummies ... such a great idea when you just can't face a dinner plate of horse pills! Thanks.
