Unfortunately, life sometimes gives you lemons. Something to put a wrench in your plans. The whole saying has a negative connotation ... and I don't think it should! Because I have a lemon tree! Which I have probably mentioned. But now I will tell you the story with photos ... because a picture is worth a thousand words ...
Oh, my. Baby lemons. They're so pretty at all stages! I made hot tea from fresh lemon, ginger and honey yesterday, after tasting it at a restaurant. Liquid health, ahhh. I felt something coming on, but not after drinking this fragrant tea.
I never would have guessed lemons grew in bunches or where such a pretty color in buds. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteAnd very fragrant!!!

ReplyDeleteSince the VOG has given me something icky, I may try the exact same thing! Thanks.
DeleteI thought they grew like oranges--one on a stem. WOW!!!
ReplyDeleteYou would not believe how many lemons are on that tree! They do take a long time to ripen. But it seems like a bit of growth all year long.
DeleteIt's magic. Beautiful!
